BurjDubai July 30, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , add a commentBurj Dubai - the world’s tallest building in Dubai.
Burj Dubai is set to be the world’s tallest building. The Arabic meaning for the word Burj is “towerâ€, this gives Burj Dubai the meaning of “Tower of Dubaiâ€
The original design was the design of Australians “Grollo-Tower†in Melbourne, but the tower was redesigned by Skidmore Owings and Merril. The design now resembles a desert flower with six petals which is indigenous to Dubai.
The Burj Dubai will be the center of a whole new city district which will include a lake, parks, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, exclusive apartment and office builings and a 2.2 mile boulevard. Once completed the area will cover more than 22-million sqarefeet of development.
By the way the Burj Dubai will not only be the tallest building in the world, but it will also have the world’s fastet elevator at 60 ft/s.
Ski Dubai July 29, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , 2commentsSki Dubai is a somewhat different tourist attraction in Dubai. Enjoy this 242,188 square foot snow area with real snow. Ski Dubai has 5 runs, the longest run being 1312 feet with a fall of over 196 feet. Snowboarder can also practice their tricks on a quarter pipe. Temperature is maintained at 30F.
Ski Dubai provides its guests with all necessary equipment and ski clothing. There are also themed restaurants as the St Moritz Cafe or the Avalanche Cafe. You can even hire ski and snow board instructors.
Ski Dubai is really something special and altough you can’t compare an indoor ski resort with a ski resort in the mountains, it’s still an awful lot of fun. And who else can say that they were skiing in the desert?

taking pictures! July 27, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , add a commentHow i loved taking pictures with my daughter… Last Wednesday, we attended birthday party at Kibuwi where Christian celebrated his 2nd birthday. I enjoyed watching the kids dancing with the jollibee mascot. They’re so happy, especially my daughter Nicole, that was the first time she saw jollibee nearer. Sulit na sulit ang pag-attend namin. ahihihi..
As my husband usually tells me, “dli jud mabayran ang kalipay sa bata..” well, that quote is indeed true. Happiness can truly be seen in the eyes of a child. There is no such perfect description of a word “happy”. As how jollibee portrays. A happy filipino character. That’s why most filipino kids loved jollibee. kaya nga, sa jollibee Bida ang sarap! ahihihi..totoo nga bah? hmhmmmmm, well, with no doubt…I agree!

a refer referred soap…. July 13, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so farOne of my friend, introduces me this soap “Kojic Acid Soap“, Hoping that it goes well as i will be using this soap starting today. I’ve been so obsessed on how to have a good looking skin. Trying everything just to cut the word imperfections to perfections. How blessed are those people who got fair skin. How I wish I could have what they have too. Based from my research, Dra. Vicki Belo and Pie Calayan sell the same actual product in their clinics, and this is one of a factor that convinced us to buy and used this product. Well, I will update this blog what will be the effect of this product. As what I am saying, I started just today. I am hoping, wishing and praying that my skin problem will soon to be vanish. hhahahhaha lol
Below is my research about this product…..
If you want to try kojic, try visit this site. http://cgi.ebay.com/KOJIC-ACID-WHITENING-SOAP
Kojic Acid
Kojic acid is a more recent remedy for the treatment of pigment problems and age spots. Discovered in 1989, kojic acid has a similar effect as hydroquinone. Kojic acid is derived from a fungus, and studies have shown that it is effective as a lightening agent, inhibiting production of melanin (brown pigment)
Feel so good… July 12, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , add a commentHi everyone! i missed blogging. For 2 weeks I am so busy with my paper works. Deadlines come and go. I’ve been experiencing light problems with regards to my family like money problems and relationships too. It is easy to say that everything is fine. Honestly, I tried to be okay, I am trying to feel good. I tried not to skip meals. But looks sometimes can be deceiving. It isn’t my fault when trials arrived. I know in mean time there is always a solution for that. In my own experience. I find reading a bible a pleasant thing to do especially when you’re in a middle of nowhere…for me, it is just like talking to God by means of bible. I just turned the pages, I read any verses wherever my fingertip points. it is so amazing that you don’t expect God is still there waiting for you to call Him. When I am in the office, I visited this site “God’s word“. It helps me a lot specially when I am depressed and feel so down. Why not reading His word when you have time reading non sense text messages. Should I say that we must have a sensitive ear to hear for us to know that there is truly an existence whom has a good heart helping us in an utterly quiet moment.
The Problem with Money July 2, 2007
Posted by grincuddle in : Uncategorized , add a commentDo you want to become poorer than you are now? Are you truly happy with the money you have? Or would you like more money?
Almost everyone would like to have more money. A co-worker once said that he didn’t want to be rich. I said, “No? But I bet you’d like to have more money than you have now.” He replied, “Oh, yes, a lot more!”
Why do we want more money? We expect it to enhance our lives. These expectations seem to center on four broad areas.
First, some of us expect to be able to do the things we want, to live the way we want, without being limited by the lack of money. We expect that this will make us happy, that it will give us satisfaction.
Second, some of us expect that money will give us an identity, that it will make us somebody special, that it will make us significant. We expect that people will give us acceptance and approval because we have money.
Third, some of us expect that money will protect and take care of us, that it will give us security.
Fourth, some of us expect that we will no longer have to work so hard. We expect that money will give us rest.
Now, these four things - satisfaction, identity, security, and rest - are basic human needs. There is nothing wrong with wanting them. However, in Matthew 13:22, Jesus used the phrase, “the deceitfulness of riches”. Riches deceive us into thinking that they will meet these basic needs, but they are really unable to do so.
People also try to meet these four needs via other avenues such as things, jobs, sports teams, and relationships. What we say about money will also apply in a general way to these other avenues.
